Xsara VTS 2.0 16V de 1998 de Pierre Hongrois

Salut a tout le monde,

Je m'appelle Peter ('Pierre' en francais) et j'habite a Budapest en Hongrie.
Je travaille pour Nissan Sales Central an Eastern Europe comme Chef de piece. Avant j'etais dans la meme position chez Norauto et Renault.
Ma copine et moi auraient un bébé en Mars, 2018 ( au Dieu), c'est pourquoi ma copine devait render sa voiture de societe (elle ne peut pas posseder la voiture de societe pendant la vacances de maternite). Alors elle utilize ma voiture de soc, un Juke et je viens d'acheter une Xsara VTS, qui est assez rare en Hongrie. Je prefer le look de Xsara 1.
Condition? Assez horrible comme d'habitude en Europe de l'Est.
Je cherche des pieces pour ma voiture; le seuil est rouille mais je ne le trouve pas nulle part. Avez-vous de l'idee ou je pourrais acheter de seuil pour une coupe?
C'est la meme problem pour le couverture de petit trou qui se situe dans la porte. Je ne le trouvait pas sur Ebay.

J'ai fait les photos que vous souhaitez.
Sur la premiere photo vous voyez que la couverture (qui est fixe au porte de conducteur) manque.
Sur la deuxieme et troisieme photo vous voyez  que le seuil ('sill' en anglais) est rouillé, je veux les changer.

On the 1st photo you can see that the cover is missing from my door. There is a small place in the door to keep small things in it  (CDs, coins, keys, etc)., the cover is missing.
On the 2nd and 3rd photo you can see my sill, there are some small bumps on it, if you lift the car you can see from below it's rusted. Both sills should be replaced, but could not find the part anywhere as it is a coupe.

Hello and welcome!

The cover for your door armrest can be easily found in France from any person selling their door trim. Or you can try this website : www.leboncoin.fr It's used to sell any kind of stuff and you can find car parts. people rarely sell the door trim only but the whole door, though. You can also look on ebay and in the filters make a worldwide search. British people also have lots of Xsara spare parts and you'll also find results in France.

For your sill, which is your entire skirt, you can't replace it. It's part of the car body. the only way to replace it is with an angle grinder and then welding a new one back. But your looks in a VERY good shape. What I reccomend you to do is buy paint, filling primer, clear coat, sanding paper and sand away the small rust and then repaint it yourself. It's a really easy job

However, I have a question for you, since you live in Hungary maybe you got this equipment for Xsaras there : are there any headlight washers for the Xsara 2 there? I have been looking to install one for aged and it's impossible to find for a reasonable price.

How would you call the cover of the armrest or the whole armrest in French? How would you search for it? What word would you use?
Headlight washer: what would you need? whole mechanism or just the cover of the washer? Do you happen to have a 'photo eclate'?
I would check it at the local breakyards + wholesellers of parts.

I never saw people selling just the armrest (difficult to take it off without breaking it). Try looking for the whole door trim : garniture de porte; or the whole door for a coupé : porte xsara coupé OR porte xsara 3 portes (3-door xsara door). Armrest = accoudoir.
As for ebay, use english words first for your searches, hopefully you'll find it in the UK. If not, use the same french words.

For your armrests, it is possible to buy them from Citroën brand new :


Gauche = Left
Droite = Right
9319 R2 & 9320 Q2 are the part numbers. You can go to Citroën and tell them you need that part with that part number and they will know exactly what you need.
The marking "NFP" on other parts means "Ne fournit plus" which means the part is not available anymore, so you'rein luck because the armrests are still sold.
Their price here is 71,42€ for each.

Les bas de caisse ne sont plus disponibles chez Citron font plus,donc il faut réparer:
poncer la tôle à nu
antirouille,si possible en spray,dessus et dedans (par les trous,il y en aura!)
mastic pour les bosses
ponçage et peinture;
pas d'autre alternative;
pour le couvercle d'accoudoir,voir le bon coin (the good corner)lol

Sadly for your sill , they're not doing it anymore , you have to fixed it

What's Patrick say for your sill is to sand down your sill to the sheet
put some rustproof , if possible in spray can, outside and inside (by the rusty hole) .
some mastic for the bumps
sanding and peint

he say they're no other way (and you can trust him , it's like our Xsara living god , if something happened to your Xsara he knows how to fix it )

For your armrests we can check here in France where it's gonna be more simple to find it
(And like King_George if you have a way to get those damm spray nozzle...)

If you find the projector lava nozzles too I am interested.
I have the option on my vehicle but a cache nozzle is broken, it can not be found here in France.
I only need the passenger side.
My vehicle is black but whatever colors you find. :p
For the door cushion you are looking for.
I can find them and exchange them by parcel if it suits you.

haaa ben la ok . donc oui c'est bas de caisse y a rien a faire si c'est perforant en ponçant et ben faut refaire une pièces en tôle brute . sans oublier le corp creux a mettre aussi ça aide a plus avoir de rouille dans le bas de caisse en passant par l'interieur des ailes arrière .
